On 31 December 2026 Munich rings in 2026/2027 across clubs, festival tents and gala venues – from electronic club culture and live bands to dinner-and-party nights. The central Silvestermeile on Ludwigstraße is cancelled for 2026; many club and hall parties are confirmed instead. Most doors open between 19:00 and 22:00 on 31 December and stay open into the early hours of 1 January 2027. Line-ups and last tickets change at short notice – always check the organiser’s page before you buy.

Highlights & Attractions at New Year’s Eve Clubs in Munich

• Tollwood New Year’s Eve Party on the Theresienwiese with a dedicated Harry Klein club area, live bands and the midnight waltz.
• Harry Klein @ Tollwood: DJ Karotte, VJ Sicovaja and the Lovers Lipsync Battle in a festival tent rather than the usual club room.
• Filmcasino at Odeonsplatz: five-course gala in the evening, then a club night until 05:00.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026/2027

Tollwood – The Great New Year’s Eve Party (Theresienwiese)
31 December 2026 from 19:00, open end. Doors and start 19:00, live music from about 19:30. Across several areas: Ezé, Botticelli Baby, Jamaram meets Jahcoustix, Falschgeld and Fliegende Haie. Club Harry Klein runs its own area with DJ Karotte, VJ Sicovaja and the Lovers Lipsync Battle. In the Hexenkessel: Jokers Band and DJ Dirk Wagner. At midnight the crowd joins the traditional midnight waltz. No organised fireworks on site; personal fireworks and pyrotechnics are banned. Tickets are valid as an MVV ticket for the event day across the whole MVV network.

Harry Klein
For New Year’s Eve 2026/2027 the club is announced as a guest area at Tollwood rather than a separate night at its usual venue. Electronic music, visuals and queer performance culture (Lipsync Battle) form the club focus of the night.

Filmcasino (Odeonsplatz 8)
31 December 2026, menu check-in from about 18:30, party until 05:00 on 1 January 2027. Champagne reception, five-course menu from 19:30, then from about 22:30 the room turns into a club with light shows and a view toward Odeonsplatz. Separate party tickets for later entry.

ROODY x München elektronisch (ROODY Tanzcafé Giesing, Candidplatz 9)
31 December 2026, 21:00–05:00. Curated by the München elektronisch community: JuMiX (21:00–22:30), Baronessa (22:30–00:30), AFAIC and a closing slot until 05:00. Tech-house, melodic, techno and dark progressive. No personal fireworks. Admission 7 euro advance / 10 euro on the door – proceeds go to the DJ pool according to the organisers.

Löwenbräukeller – The Grand New Year’s Eve (Nymphenburger Straße 2)
31 December 2026, 19:00–05:00. Festive buffet, live band, DJ and shared countdown. Dress code formal/elegant. After dinner the party runs into the morning.

Frau im Mond (Museumsinsel 1, roof of the Deutsches Museum)
31 December 2026, 19:00 to 1 January 2027, 04:00. Festive menu (classic or vegetarian), wines and long drinks included in the dinner-and-drinks ticket. Evening dress.

Strom – Dance With Somebody (Lindwurmstraße 88)
New Year’s Eve ’26: indie, ’80s and pop. Doors from 00:30 on 1 January 2027, party until about 06:00. Tickets from about 15 euro. 18+; no dirndl or traditional costume.

Kesselhaus (Lilienthalallee 33)
Turkish New Year’s party 2026/2027, doors from 20:00, open end. Multiple DJs, LED and laser show, VIP areas, large dance floor. Early-phase tickets from about 25–33 euro.

Other clubs (P1, Pacha, Neuraum, Blitz, Bahnwärter Thiel)
Official tourism and nightlife pages regularly list P1 and Pacha for exclusive New Year’s Eve parties; Neuraum and Blitz typically host large club nights over the turn of the year. Full line-ups and ticket prices for 31 December 2026 were not fully published for several of these venues as of mid-October 2026 – details often appear only in late autumn. Bahnwärter Thiel has hosted a multi-floor “Bahnsteig” New Year’s festival in previous years; a confirmed 2026/2027 Silvester announcement was not yet available at research time. Check club websites and platforms such as Rausgegangen or Eventbrite closer to the date.

Last tickets on the night are limited; Tollwood tickets also work as MVV tickets on the event day.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Munich

• Getting there: Prefer public transport – U4/U5 Theresienwiese (Tollwood), U/S toward Odeonsplatz (Filmcasino), Candidplatz (ROODY), Stiglmaierplatz (Löwenbräukeller). Night trams and night buses run reinforced services; Tollwood tickets count as MVV tickets. Cars and taxis are often impractical due to closures and crowds.
• Weather and clothing: Late December in Munich is cold, often at or below freezing. For outdoor and tent areas wear warm layers and solid shoes; in clubs and galas follow the dress code (elegant to chic). Rigid umbrellas and personal fireworks are banned at many venues.
• Where to stay: Hotels around the main station, Theresienwiese and the old town sell out early for New Year’s Eve – book ahead. After the party, a base with good U-Bahn links is useful.
• Rules: Fireworks and bangers are banned in the city centre (including Stachus–Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt), the English Garden and Nymphenburg Palace Park. Many clubs and Tollwood ban brought pyrotechnics. Age limits are usually 18+; at Tollwood under-18s only with an adult, no children under six.
