Welcome to New Year's Eve on Föhr 2026/2027 in Wyk auf Föhr
For the turn of the year 2026/2027, the North Sea island of Föhr celebrates mainly in its main town, Wyk auf Föhr. Around the seafront promenade known as the Sandwall, locals and guests come together for an open air party, a costume run and a New Year program. Anyone expecting a big city club night with many discos will not find that on Föhr; instead, the island offers small, friendly and often free celebrations right by the sea.
Highlights & Attractions at New Year's Eve on Föhr in Wyk
- Open air New Year's Eve party in front of the music pavilion on the Sandwall with Föhr DJs Ralli and Moritz (free entry and running late into the night in recent years)

In the evening the action moves to the Sandwall, where the open air party in front of the music pavilion has run into the early hours in recent years. The party in the Kurgartensaal ran from the early evening until the morning for the 2024/2025 turn of the year.

We could not reliably confirm any further club parties or discos on Föhr. Some hotels and restaurants on the island offer their own New Year's Eve menus, which should be requested directly from the businesses.
