Welcome to New Year's Eve Clubs in Berlin 2026/2027
New Year’s Eve 2026 falls on Thursday, 31 December, and 1 January 2027 is a public holiday. In Berlin, clubbing is a core part of Silvester: from the city’s biggest indoor party at the Kulturbrauerei to Matrix at Warschauer Platz, rooftop nights above Alexanderplatz and riverside parties at Spindler & Klatt. Many programmes are already confirmed; ticket prices and line-ups can still change — always check each club’s official channels.
Highlights & Attractions at New Year's Eve Clubs in Berlin
- Kulturbrauerei (Prenzlauer Berg): for the 26th time Berlin’s largest indoor New Year’s Eve party — 13 floors, around 30 DJs plus a live band, midnight countdown and fireworks over the rooftops (doors from about 20:00, 18+, tickets from about 35 euro plus fees).
- Matrix Club (Warschauer Platz 18, Friedrichshain): Silvester from 22:00 across multiple floors with house, hip-hop, afrobeats, reggaeton, dance classics and techno; table reservations and bottle packages available, 18+.
- Weekend Club above Alexanderplatz: New Year’s Eve 2026/27 from 21:00 with rooftop views, Club (hip-hop, Latin, favourites) and Loft (house & techno); 18+, table booking recommended.
- Spindler & Klatt on the Spree (Köpenicker Straße 16–17): “DISCOTHÈQUE” from 21:00, two floors (house/RnB/pop and 90s/2000s), heated outdoor terrace; advance tickets from about 30 euro, 18+.
- Further club and hybrid events across Mitte, Kreuzberg and beyond; listings on Gästeliste030 and visitBerlin are updated regularly.
- Typical club entry often sits between about 30 and 60 euro; VIP tables, dinner packages and all-inclusive galas cost substantially more.
- Public transport usually runs through the night or with enhanced service — the practical way to move between districts without a car.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026/2027
Most club Silvester parties open between 20:00 and 22:00 and run into the early hours of 1 January (often until 05:00–07:00). At the Kulturbrauerei the countdown and fireworks take place at midnight in the courtyard; personal fireworks are banned there and in many other venues. Music ranges from charts, RnB and 90s/2000s classics to house, techno, hip-hop and Latin, depending on floor and venue.
Full line-ups are often finalised only in the weeks before New Year’s Eve. Matrix has already listed several DJs and floors for 2026/27; Weekend Club names Club and Loft acts. Re-entry, cloakroom and dress codes vary: the Kulturbrauerei generally does not allow re-entry after you leave the grounds; other clubs set their own rules. Always bring photo ID — 18+ is standard.
Tickets & Admission for New Year's Eve Clubs Berlin
Standard club tickets for Silvester 2026/2027 currently start around 30 euro (e.g. Spindler & Klatt advance from about 29.99–38 euro) and around 35 euro at the Kulturbrauerei (online often about 37–44 euro including fees). Matrix and Weekend Club sell via their own sites or partners; door prices and remaining stock are often announced late. VIP tables and bottle packages (at Matrix, for example, from about 150 euro turnover depending on group size) and dinner-plus-party packages cost much more.
Buy only through official club sites, Eventim, Eventbrite or established box offices. visitBerlin aggregates many New Year’s Eve events. Prices and availability change — book early, especially for the Kulturbrauerei and popular rooftop or riverside venues.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Berlin
- Getting there: U2 Eberswalder Straße or S-Bahn Schönhauser Allee for the Kulturbrauerei; U-Bahn Warschauer Straße for Matrix; Alexanderplatz for Weekend Club; U Schlesisches Tor for Spindler & Klatt. Use public transport on Silvester night — taxis and ride-hailing are expensive and scarce.
- Weather and clothing: Late December in Berlin is often cold, wet and windy. Layers, solid shoes and a warm jacket (use the cloakroom). Clubs heat up quickly; outdoor terraces and rooftops stay cold.
- Where to stay: Hotels and hostels in Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain, Mitte and Kreuzberg sell out early and cost more at New Year. Book ahead and prioritise proximity to U-/S-Bahn and your chosen party.
- Safety: Personal fireworks are banned in clubs and on many event grounds. Follow bag rules; keep cash and cards separate. Photo ID (national ID or passport) is required.
- Plan B: Keep several club options in mind and secure tickets in advance. Official updates on the Brandenburg Gate open-air and other large events often come only in the weeks before Silvester — visitBerlin and club websites are the most reliable sources.

Things to Do in Berlin
Weltballon Berlin
The Weltballon near Checkpoint Charlie lifts visitors 150 metres above Berlin in an open gondola for sweeping views over the city centre. The ride of about 15 minutes combines a spectacular panorama with a view over the former Wall strip.
Alexanderplatz
Alexanderplatz is one of Berlin's busiest squares, defined by the television tower, the World Clock and the distinctive postwar East German architecture around it.
AlexBalkon
On the 37th floor of the Park Inn Hotel at Alexanderplatz, the AlexBalkon offers a calmer panoramic view over Berlin than the nearby TV Tower.
Allied Museum Berlin
The AlliiertenMuseum in Dahlem documents the history of the Western Allies in Berlin from 1945 to 1994 with original objects such as the airlift aircraft.
Alte Nationalgalerie Berlin
The Alte Nationalgalerie Berlin displays 19th-century masterpieces from Caspar David Friedrich to the Impressionists in a temple-like building on Museum Island.
Altes Museum Berlin
The Altes Museum on Museum Island displays ancient art from Greece, Etruria and Rome in a neoclassical masterpiece by Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
