Welcome to the New Year's Eve Parties 2026/2027 in St. Peter-Ording
As 2026 turns into 2027, St. Peter-Ording on the North Sea becomes a party stage under the open sky and in the resorts, hotels and restaurants by the beach. This guide covers the parties and DJ nights of New Year's Eve that sit alongside the main town events. The town has no classic club scene with discotheques; people celebrate mainly in beach venues, resorts, restaurants and at the open air events around the pier.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in St. Peter-Ording for 2026/2027
During the day, the turn of the year starts with the New Year's Eve run along the Erlebnispromenade and stalls serving hot drinks. In the evening the open air countdown begins on the pier forecourt (from 21:00 according to local listings, with fireworks at midnight). Right next to it, GOSCH on Buhne 1 hosts DJ Woschi from 21:30, with the event calendar listing a finish at 02:00. If you prefer to dance indoors, StrandGut Resort runs "Happy New Yeah!" with a DJ from 21:30; its buffet and menu packages start earlier in the evening. Tamatsu serves food throughout the day and sends guests to the market square after dinner for a fire show and DJ. At Urban Nature Hotel and AALERNHÜS the party and gala are aimed mainly at house guests with a New Year's package, so please ask the hotel whether places are open to outside guests. The beach venue YAMACITO Beach Bahnhof (Am Kurpark 4, Bad district) is also listed as a New Year's Eve address in local overviews; its program, DJ and prices had not been published at the time of research. On New Year's Day the celebrations wind down with the free party in the Deichkind restaurant. Please note that open air events on the North Sea can be cancelled at short notice because of storms; a countdown party has been cancelled for weather before.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in St. Peter-Ording
- On New Year's Eve, special shuttle buses run from the districts to the celebration and back; timetables are posted at the stops shortly before the turn of the year. Large car parks are at the village entrance, and roads around the pier are often closed in the evening.
- Private fireworks and rockets are banned in the village and on the beach to protect the thatched roofs. The official fireworks are organised by the municipality.
- Winters on the North Sea are cold and windy; wear warm, windproof clothing, a hat and gloves for the open air parties.
- Accommodation for the turn of the year books out early, and many hotels require minimum stays or sell New Year's packages only.
- Dogs and large bags are discouraged at the open air events. Check current notices before you go in case of weather cancellations.
