Program & Schedule: What to Expect on New Year's Eve in Regensburg

The New Year's Eve ball at the Kolpinghaus (Adolph Kolping Strasse 1) opens its doors at 19:00, the program starts at 20:00 and runs until about 03:00. The live band "Erwin und die Heckflossen" plays with special guest Susanne Pointinger, and evening wear is requested. The Traumfabrik presents "Kaleidoskopia" at the Audimax (Albertus Magnus Strasse 2) in two shows on New Year's Eve, at 14:00 and at 18:00, which makes it a family friendly start before the party. The Danube gala runs through the evening and past midnight with a five course menu, music, midnight soup and fireworks over the old town; it is offered as part of hotel packages.

Clubs and discos: at the time of research none of the Regensburg clubs had published an official New Year's Eve program. Alte Mälzerei (cultural center with club nights, indie, hip hop and disco), Degginger (indie, house and hip hop), Heimat (indie and hip hop), Club Czerny (techno), Hemingway's (disco) and Heart Regensburg (the GIMME GIMME party series) are the best known addresses for a night out in the city. Eventhall Airport in Obertraubling (disco and indie, the region's largest party venue) hosts the Charivari Christmasi 30+ party over the holidays; whether a separate party takes place on New Year's Eve itself is not yet confirmed. Tickets & Admission for New Year's Eve in Regensburg 2026/2027

The grand New Year's Eve ball at the Kolpinghaus costs 168 euros per person (all inclusive with gala buffet, drinks and sparkling wine at midnight); according to the organizer, presale opened in June 2026 and bookings are made by email or phone, so please confirm availability first. Tickets for "Kaleidoskopia" start at 29.90 euros (the 14:00 show from 29.90 to 84.90 euros, the 18:00 show from 44.90 to 99.90 euros); children under 18 pay 10 euros less. The Danube gala is only listed as a hotel package with two nights from 528 euros per person. No prices are available yet for club parties; venues usually announce admission and presale in December.
