's-Hertogenbosch, also known as Den Bosch, marks New Year's Eve and New Year 2026/2027 in a lit historic centre around the Markt, the Parade and St John's Cathedral. From 10 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, Bosch Winters Paradepaardje on the Parade and the Christmas market on the Markt set the winter scene. On 31 December 2026 and 1 January 2027, Brabant hospitality meets club nights, festive dinners and a traditional New Year's dive at the Oosterplas.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026/2027

Winter programming starts in mid-December. Bosch Winters Paradepaardje turns the Parade, in front of the cathedral, into a winter village with a real ice rink, carousel and mulled wine. The Christmas market runs on the Markt at the same time. De Brabantse Winter continues at the Brabanthallen through 31 December 2026 with family and pop shows; confirm the New Year's Eve slot closer to the date.

On 31 December 2026 the inner city fills with bars and restaurants. Bring It Back Now at the Orangerie, Sint Josephstraat 15, focuses on 1980s and 1990s hits, a silent-disco room, a midnight confetti countdown and a glass of bubbles if you arrive before 23:00. The main-hall line-up for 2026/2027 had not been fully announced in September 2026. Note the national rule change: from New Year 2026/2027 consumer fireworks in categories F2 and above are banned across the Netherlands. Only F1 items such as sparklers remain legal. Whether associations or professionals will receive a permit for an organised display in 's-Hertogenbosch was still under review in mid-2026. Plan midnight around city lights, indoor parties and the countdown rather than private fireworks.

Access to the Markt and Parade is free; the ice rink, rides and some winter attractions are paid. The New Year's dive at the Oosterplas is free and does not require registration. Ticketed NYE parties have typically ranged from about EUR 35 to EUR 60. Super Early Bird tickets for Bring It Back Now 2026/2027 were on sale in September 2026 at bringitbacknow.nl; the final price tier had not been fully published at that point. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in 's-Hertogenbosch

• Travel by train to Station 's-Hertogenbosch; the Markt is about a five-minute walk via Visstraat from Stationsplein.
• Late December is usually damp and cold (often 2–8 °C); wear waterproof shoes, warm layers and gloves.
• Book hotels and apartments in the centre or Paleiskwartier early; New Year weekends fill quickly.
• Do not buy, carry or set off consumer fireworks above category F1; only labelled F1 items are allowed.
• Use parking garages such as Stationsplein, Wolvenhoek or Sint Jan; the old town is best explored on foot.
