- Getting there: Address Taschenberg 3, 01067 Dresden. Closest stop is Postplatz (trams 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 11, 12). Main station about 3.6 km / roughly 10 minutes by taxi. By car, exit Dresden-Altstadt on the A4 and follow hotel route signs; APCOA underground parking has direct hotel access (around 35 euro per day).
- Dress code: Smart elegant for dinner, evening attire for the party. Formal winter clothing and comfortable yet elegant shoes suit a long night.
- Where to stay: Overnight guests in the hotel start 1 January at ease; New Year’s Eve rooms and suites sell out early. Alternatives include Old Town and Neumarkt hotels within walking distance of the Frauenkirche.
- On site: The Frauenkirche, Zwinger and Semperoper are all on foot – a short stroll through the illuminated Old Town before dinner is worthwhile.
