In Wörgl, the main ticketed cultural highlight is Dinner for One at Komma (K.M.-Pichlerstraße 21A), listed for Tuesday 29 December 2026 and Wednesday 30 December 2026. - Wörgl Hauptbahnhof is on the Inn Valley line, with Railjet and regional trains to Innsbruck, Kufstein, Salzburg and Vienna. Stadtplatz, Komma and the tourist office at Innsbrucker Straße 1 are reachable on foot or by a short bus ride.
- Late December in the valley is cold, often icy and frequently snowy. Pack warm layers, sturdy winter shoes and gloves; mountain venues are significantly colder.
- Lodging in Wörgl is often cheaper than in Hopfgarten, Söll or Kitzbühel. Book early for 31 December and 1 January, especially when ski areas are open.
- Category F2 fireworks are restricted in the Wörgl built-up area. Private firecrackers harm air quality and animals; Hopfgarten bans personal fireworks at the mountain event.
