Welcome to the New Year's Eve Parties 2026-2027 in Madrid
New Year’s Eve 2026-2027 in Madrid falls on Thursday 31 December 2026 and Friday 1 January 2027. The free public focus is midnight at Puerta del Sol with the twelve lucky grapes. After that, clubs open — as of mid-October 2026 four club nights have tickets on sale, with more venues and hotel galas still announcing. Prices and line-ups can still change; always check the official seller for each venue before you buy.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Madrid
- Getting around: Arrive early for Puerta del Sol; capacity is limited and access is controlled. Sol metro may close or restrict street access — use Ópera, Callao or Sevilla instead. Clubs: B12 (Nuevos Ministerios), Cadavra/Lula (Gran Vía/Sol), Jade (Santa Engracia). After midnight use taxis, Uber/Cabify or night buses (EMT); driving into the centre is impractical.
- Weather and dress: Late December in Madrid is often cold (commonly around 0–10 °C), with possible frost or rain. Warm layers and solid shoes; clubs expect smart casual to elegant — sportswear and beachwear are usually refused.
- Where to stay: NYE is peak season — book early in Centro, Chueca, Malasaña and Salamanca. For WE New Year Festival, Chueca fills especially fast.
- Timing: Many clubs open only after the chimes (01:00). If you do midnight at Sol and then a club, allow time to leave the square and queue. Soft containers for water/grapes are safer; bottles and cans are often banned at Sol.
- Safety and updates: Watch your belongings, and check Ayuntamiento, Metro and EMT notices in the days before 31 December. Line-ups and prices can still change — always confirm on the official ticket page for the party you choose.
