Welcome to the Silvesterschwimmen Achensee 2026 /2027 in Pertisau
On December 31, 2026, the lakeside promenade of Pertisau on Lake Achensee once again hosts one of Tyrol's most unusual New Year's Eve traditions. Brave swimmers plunge into the roughly four degree Celsius water of Lake Achensee, swim out to a floating iceberg and ring a New Year's bell there, while spectators cheer them on from the promenade.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The pre event program with music starts around 11:30 AM on the lakeside promenade. The timed "Sport" category begins at 12:00 PM, followed by the costume focused "Fun" category at 1:30 PM. The event wraps up around 3:00 PM with the awards ceremony. The Silvesterschwimmen is organized by the diving club Blackdivers Tirol in cooperation with Achensee Tourism.
