Welcome to the Ski and Music Festival 2026 in Obertauern
Ski and Music Festival in Obertauern means Skiopening Week 2026: live concerts plus the season start in Lungau. Official dates run 27 November to 8 December 2026. Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The week frames skiing, apres and two headline nights. Other daytime listings sit on the village calendar; they are not a second festival stage. Weather and snow can change an open-air set. Season-B ski passes cover 20 November to 25 December 2026; an adult day ticket is 72 euros. Partial lift operation is planned through 2 May 2027.
There is no separate Ski and Music Festival brand beside Skiopening Week. Ski-only guests do not need a concert ticket. Music-only guests do not need a ski pass, but they do need winter clothing.

Standing is 79 euros on site, often a little more online with fees. VIP is 299 euros at every age. Children 10 and under in standing are 0 euros plus a mandatory free ticket. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Obertauern
- Train to Radstadt or Tamsweg, then shuttle or bus up the pass; drive only with winter kit
