From 22 December 2026 to 6 January 2027, Skopje's central Macedonia Square transforms into a warm and cozy Balkan Christmas market. Surrounded by the city's famous statues and neoclassical architecture, this compact local market blends festive traditions with North Macedonia's unique cultural heritage. Because the country honors both Catholic and Orthodox traditions, the festive season and glowing atmosphere extend well into January.
