Recent evening names included FAUZENE and Fatslimm with Marjo. Spectators can watch for free but need a ski pass and equipment to ride the chairlift. Les Arcs sits inside the Paradiski winter domain. For the 2026/2027 season the mountain area is due to open on 12 December 2026 and, according to destination information, operate into late April 2027. April is usually a sunny late-season window with reliable snow at altitude.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Les Arcs

• Travel by train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then take the funicular to Arc 1600 (included with a ski pass) and the Mont-Blanc chairlift to Les Deux Tetes
• April at 2,300 m can still be cold and windy: pack ski pants, a warm jacket, gloves, a beanie and glacier glasses or goggles
• Book lodging early in Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 or Arc 2000; the 2026 athlete pass only covered a campsite pitch in Seez, not a hotel or apartment
• If you are not a confident skier, the final approach is a short blue run; hiking up is possible but takes much longer
• Highliners must bring personal safety gear (harness and lanyards; jumar and Grigri-style devices for longer lines); skis or a snowboard are required for the lift
