Current price tiers (euro): SMAG Family Ticket from 39 euro (heavily limited; reported sold out at times), SMAG Early Bird Ticket 49 euro (limited allocation), Early Bird VIP Ticket 119 euro (from 31 July 2026, only 100 units). VIP includes main-stage access next to the DJs, VIP area, separate bars and toilets, champagne counter and fast lane; food and drinks are not included. Student/pupil tickets have been offered in past editions with valid ID – check the ticket shop for current conditions. Tickets are not personalised and are transferable. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Essen

• By train: S6 to Essen-Hügel (often higher frequency on the festival day; travel is not included in the ticket). By car: A52 (exit Essen-Rüttenscheid/Bredeney) or A40 and B224 towards Werden/Baldeneysee, then Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße to Seaside Beach; the access road is closed from about 13:30 – park only in marked areas. Bike parking at the end of Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße. Taxis wait in front of the site.
• Weather and clothing: July by the lake can be hot and sunny, sometimes windy. Sun protection, comfortable shoes for sand and grass (no heels), light clothing; shade and a cooling station are available on site.
• Accommodation: Book early in Essen and around Baldeneysee. There is no on-site camping; nearby options listed in the official FAQ include Knaus Camping Werden, Campingplatz Deichklause and Horster Ruhrbrücke.
• On site: No outside food or drinks (empty foldable bottles allowed; free water station). Backpacks max. A4/gym-bag size; banned items include drugs, weapons, pyrotechnics, large deodorants over 100 ml and professional AV gear. Lockers can be reserved in advance. Token card credit is refundable only on the festival day.
