Welcome to the SNEW Festival 2027 in Davos

SNEW Festival in Davos is one of Switzerland’s highest electronic alpine parties. The last edition ran on 4–5 April 2026 over Easter on Jakobshorn, with Jatzhuette at around 2,560 metres as the main stage. Dates for 2027 have not been announced; previous editions aligned with Easter weekend. The Terrazzza label adds winter day raves on the same terrace and afterparties in town venues such as Chalet Bello and Hotel Morosani.

Highlights & Attractions at SNEW Festival in Davos

  • Daydance at Jatzhuette on Jakobshorn, about 2,560 metres above sea level, with views over the Sertig Valley and snow-covered peaks
  • Multiple floors and mountain huts: Jatzhuette, Chalet Gueggel and Fuxaegufer, plus afterparties at Montana Bar, Chalet Bello and Bolgenschanze
  • Four electronic worlds hosted by Raumklang, Frieda's Buexe, Kinky Beats and Winter Faescht
  • Psytrance, techno, house and live sets; the 2026 bill included Neelix, Omiki, Ranji, Rising Dust, Phaxe, Hatikwa, Extrawelt Live and Kaufmann
  • Ski-and-rave format: slopes in the morning, terrace by afternoon, clubs in the valley after dark
  • Terrazzza winter raves in Davos with house and techno line-ups on the sun deck and in village venues
  • Strictly limited tickets, 18+ only, with optional timed gondola add-ons

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

SNEW 2026 ran as a two-day Easter festival. Saturday featured a Frieda's Buexe daydance at Jatzhuette from about 09:30, a Raumklang pre-party at Bolgenschanze and an afterparty at Montana Bar. Sunday brought a Raumklang daydance at Jatzhuette (about 09:00–18:30) and a Kinky Beats daydance at Chalet Gueggel, with afterparties until around 04:00. Terrazzza Davos in December 2025 followed a similar pattern: daytime at Jatzhuette, night at Chalet Bello and Hotel Morosani. Line-up and venues for 2027 are not public yet. Check snew.events and terrazzza.com once the next edition is confirmed. Jakobshorn’s planned winter operation for 2026/2027 runs from mid-December 2026 to late March 2027; an Easter 2027 weekend (Easter Sunday on 28 March) would sit inside that window, but no official SNEW date has been released.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Davos

  • Getting there: Take the Rhaetian Railway to Davos Platz, then walk or ride to the Jakobshorn valley station. Two gondola sections reach the summit; from there it is a 10–15 minute walk to Jatzhuette (piste 9 / Jatz-Quattro). By car, park at Davos Platz; winter tyres or chains are essential.
  • Weather and clothing: Strong high-altitude sun and sub-zero air at the same time. Ski or snowboard kit for the morning, a windproof layer, sunglasses, sunscreen, sturdy shoes for the hut path and a change of clothes for valley afterparties.
  • Book beds early: Davos inventory is tight around Easter and peak winter weeks. Davos Klosters Mountains hotels often sell ski-pass packages; festival tickets remain separate. Klosters is a backup, about 30 minutes by train.
  • Altitude and safety: 2,560 metres means thinner air. Drink water, pace yourself and expect fast weather changes. Pistes close in the afternoon; night gondolas run only on published event timetables.
  • Slots and extras: Visitors without a season pass need the correct gondola slot. Deck chairs at Jatzhuette are often paid and sell out. Follow official updates on snew.events, jatzhuette.ch and davos.ch.
