What Is Snowbombing in Mayrhofen?
Snowbombing is Europe's best known ski and music festival: a full week combining daytime skiing in the Zillertal Alps with nighttime sets from international DJs and live acts in unusual venues, from forest clearings and mountain huts to a popup rave inside an old butcher's shop. The festival has been held in the Tyrolean resort of Mayrhofen since 2005 and ranks among the largest electronic and EDM events in the Alps.
When Does Snowbombing 2027 Take Place?
The 27th edition of Snowbombing runs from 5 to 10 April 2027 in Mayrhofen, Austria. Many guests arrive the weekend before to catch the opening parties and stay through the following Sunday. Daytime brings access to more than 140 kilometres of piste, including the Harakiri, Austria's steepest run; by night, the festival stages take over.
