Welcome to the SnowpenAir 2027 in Grindelwald
SnowpenAir was the Jungfrau Railways open-air at the foot of the Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau. Its original stage was Kleine Scheidegg at about 2,061 m; later editions used Grindelwald Terminal and finally Maennlichen. The 25th edition on 23–24 March 2024 on Maennlichen was officially the last. As of September 2026 no 2027 revival had been confirmed. Check jungfrau.ch before you travel.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
SnowpenAir typically filled a late-March weekend. Shows ran in the afternoon on snow; in 2024 Saturday featured Juraya, Gotthard and Simply Red, Sunday Stubete Gaeng, Heimweh and Goela, with DJs later at Grindelwald Terminal. Kleine Scheidegg could not host later editions after a site deal tied to the V-Bahn project. There is no 2027 timetable because no new edition is on sale.
Grindelwald-Maennlichen is listed from 21 November 2026 to 25 April 2027 for winter 2026/2027. Kleine Scheidegg remains the winter hub between Grindelwald and Wengen. A March weekend would still sit inside the lift calendar if trains and gondolas run. That is not a festival confirmation.
Tickets & Admission for SnowpenAir Grindelwald
There is no 2027 box office while the festival remains discontinued after March 2024. Last published 2024 prices: one-day concert-only pass 125 CHF (about 135 euros), or 155 CHF with travel from Interlaken Ost (about 167 euros); two-day passes 225 CHF or 285 CHF with travel (about 243 to 308 euros). Child tickets ran from 40 to 100 CHF (about 43 to 108 euros). Sales went through snowpenair.ch and Jungfrau Railways. Do not buy third-party tickets for an unannounced 2027 edition.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Grindelwald
- Train via Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald or Wengen, then the mountain railway to Kleine Scheidegg or the gondola to Maennlichen; drive only as far as the valley
- March at 2,000–2,200 m brings wind, snow showers and strong sun; pack layers, solid boots, gloves and UV protection
- Check rooms in Grindelwald and Wengen early; the Easter tail of the season stays busy even without the festival
- Buy a separate Jungfrau Region ski pass if you want to ski before any concert
