Welcome to Solar Weekend 2027 in Roermond
From July 29 to August 1, 2027, the De Weerd recreation area at the Maasplassen in Roermond once again turns into a creative electronic music picnic by the water. Solar Weekend has long been considered one of the most imaginative festivals in the Netherlands, bringing electronic sounds and art installations together right on the lakeside.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Solar Weekend traditionally runs over four days from Thursday to Sunday, with camping and the festival site right next to each other. Alongside the main stages, numerous smaller areas and art installations let visitors move freely between music, theater and interactive experiences. The full 2027 program and line up will be published on the official website in spring.
Tickets and Admission for Solar Weekend Roermond
Final 2027 ticket prices have not yet been announced. For the 2026 edition, prices ranged from around 72.50 euros to 165 euros depending on the ticket type, whether a day ticket, a weekend ticket or a holiday ticket including camping. Ticket sales usually open in November of the previous year, and camping plus weekend tickets have historically sold out quickly.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Roermond
- Arriving by train to Roermond station is recommended, with shuttle buses running directly to the festival site
- Visitors driving in should use only the official parking area, buying a parking ticket in advance is cheaper
- Since the festival takes place right by the water, swimwear and sun protection are worth packing
- The camping area has sold out early in previous years, so booking ahead is a good idea
