Welcome to the Solothurner Biertage 2027 in Solothurn
The Solothurner Biertage is Switzerland’s longest-running and most important beer festival. From 29 April to 1 May 2027, more than 50 independent Swiss breweries present over 200 craft beers in and around the Rythalle at Schanzenplatz. Since 2002 the event has attracted thousands of beer lovers each year to the historic old town of Solothurn.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The 23rd Solothurner Biertage takes place from Thursday 29 April to Saturday 1 May 2027. Opening hours: Thursday 4:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., Friday 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. and Saturday 2:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. Guests can enjoy tastings, live music and food in the festival tent and beer garden. On Friday evening the traditional Solothurn Beer Night continues at the Druckerei club. Stand plans are published before the event.
Tickets & Admission for Solothurner Biertage Solothurn
A day pass costs CHF 15 (approx. EUR 16) and includes a reusable cup (CHF 2 deposit) or a discount on the official festival glass. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Solothurn
- 5-minute walk from the station via the Rötibrücke or by public transport to Solothurn Baseltor stop
- Parking in the Baseltor multi-storey car park opposite the site – never drive after drinking alcohol
- Book accommodation in the old town or surrounding area early, as the festival is popular
- Moonliner night buses make the journey home easier at the weekend
- Wear comfortable shoes and weatherproof clothing, as parts of the event take place outdoors
