Welcome to SonicBlast 2027 in Vila Praia de Âncora
On the wild Atlantic coast of northern Portugal, Praia da Duna dos Caldeirões once again becomes home to stoner, doom, psych and punk at SonicBlast. For more than a decade the festival has drawn fans of heavy and alternative music from across Europe to a unique beachfront setting where sea, river and pine forest meet.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
SonicBlast traditionally spans three festival days in August, preceded by a warm up night. Concerts usually start in the afternoon and continue late into the night. Tickets and Admission for SonicBlast 2027
In previous editions, a full festival pass covering all days cost around 100 euros during early sales, alongside single day tickets. Exact prices for 2027 have not yet been set and will be published once ticket sales officially open on the festival's website.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Vila Praia de Âncora
- The Âncora Praia train station on the Minho line is only about one kilometer from the festival site
- The venue is reached on foot, with the walk from the village to the beach being part of the festival experience
