From December 10 to 13, 2026, Bahnhofsplatz Square in front of the New Town Hall in Sonneberg becomes a festive hub of southern Thuringia. Traditionally held on the third Advent weekend, the market blends cozy Advent atmosphere with Sonneberg's long history as a toy manufacturing town.

The main market on Bahnhofsplatz Square is open Thursdays from 11am to 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 1pm to 8pm, and Sundays from 1pm to 7pm.
