Welcome to the Sonorama Ribera 2027 in Aranda de Duero
Sonorama Ribera 2027 takes place from 4 to 8 August 2027 in Aranda de Duero (Burgos, Castile and León) and marks the festival’s 30th edition. Held since 1998, it is one of Spain’s leading independent music gatherings, mixing indie, pop and rock with the wine culture of the Ribera del Duero. Paid concerts at Recinto El Picón on Calle Valladolid run from 4 to 7 August; 8 August is, according to the organiser, a morning of exclusively free programming open to the public.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Sonorama Ribera in Aranda de Duero is built around two spaces: free concerts and activities in the historic centre during the day, and the ticketed programme at Recinto El Picón at night. Official FAQ times put doors at 18:30, with shows from about 19:00 until around 05:00 (about 03:30 on Wednesday). 8 August 2027 is designated as a morning of free, public programming only. Detailed 2027 set times and stage plots will be released closer to the event.
Musically the festival is known for Spanish indie, pop, rock, singer-songwriter and electronic acts, with a strong national focus and selected international guests. For 2027, Siloé is the first confirmed name; a full bill was not yet available. Wine, local food and the mix of recinto, town squares and camping are part of the identity. Inside the venue, payments use a cashless wristband; unused balance can be reclaimed via the official website after the festival.
Tickets & Admission for Sonorama Ribera in Aranda de Duero
The general festival pass (Bono General) covers Recinto access on 4, 5, 6 and 7 August 2027 and does not include VIP or camping. The first batch of 5,000 passes went on sale on 11 August 2026 at a special price of €85 (the organiser presented this as a final price) and sold out within minutes. VIP passes, day tickets, children’s tickets (ages 0–11), the camping add-on and later sale phases had not been priced at the time of research; later batches may cost more. There are also options for holders of Spain’s “Bono Cultural Joven” and reduced access for people with a disability (proof required).
Buy only through official channels: the festival website (sonoramaribera.com/entradas) and the box office at Café Central, Calle La Sal 9, 09400 Aranda de Duero. The organiser warns against unofficial resellers. Children aged 0–11 need a children’s ticket and an adult with their own ticket; ages 12–15 need a general ticket plus an accompanying adult; 16- and 17-year-olds may attend without an adult but must bring a signed authorisation. Under-18s may camp only with a parent or legal guardian.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Aranda de Duero
- Travel: Aranda de Duero has no AVE station; the nearest long-distance rail hubs are Burgos and Valladolid. In previous years Autocares Bayo ran festival coaches from Madrid, Burgos and Valladolid — check the official buses page for 2027. By car, use the A-1; Recinto entrances are at Calle Valladolid/Calle Haza and Calle Valladolid/Avenida Montecillo. Free shuttles usually link camping, the town centre and the venue.
- Weather and clothing: August days in Aranda de Duero are often hot (around 28 °C, sometimes much higher), while nights are clearly cooler (often around 13 °C). Pack sun protection, a hat, comfortable shoes and a warm layer for the night. Large bags over 25 litres, umbrellas, folding chairs, selfie sticks and outside drinks (with limited exceptions) are not allowed in the recinto.
- Accommodation: Hotels and guesthouses in Aranda de Duero sell out fast around the festival — book early. Official camping is at Parque General Gutiérrez and requires a festival ticket plus the camping supplement; bring your own tent (unless glamping is offered). No overnight stays in campervans or vans on the campsite. The 2027 camping price had not been published yet.
- Festival tip: Free shows on Plaza del Trigo are among the most iconic moments of Sonorama Ribera in Aranda de Duero — arrive early. Ribera del Duero wine and the town’s bodegas are part of the experience. Use official tickets only, register the cashless wristband in advance, and reclaim any leftover balance after the event.
