Welcome to the Starkbierfest Salvator 2027 in Munich
From February 26 to March 21, 2027, Paulaner am Nockherberg once again invites guests to Munich's long standing strong beer festival. For three weeks, the Nockherberg celebrates the dark double bock beer Salvator, first brewed by the Paulaner monks in the seventeenth century, along with genuine Bavarian conviviality.
Highlights and Attractions at the Starkbierfest Salvator
- The original Paulaner Salvator, a strong dark double bock beer with a long tradition
- Hearty Bavarian dishes from the kitchen of Florian Lechner and his team
- An Oktoberfest style band keeps the mood going all festival long
- The charming beer garden at the Nockherberg on fine weather days
- A smaller and more traditional Bavarian celebration than Oktoberfest, without fairground rides

Program and Schedule: What to Expect at Strong Beer Season
The season traditionally opens with the Salvator Probe, an event for invited guests only, where a cabaret performer in the role of Brother Barnabas humorously roasts sitting politicians. The public can watch the broadcast live on television. The weekend after, Nockherberg opens to all visitors, and celebrations continue in the festival hall and beer garden over several weeks through February and March.
