Welcome to the Stockholm Christmas Market 2026
During the festive season, Stockholm transforms into a magical Scandinavian winter wonderland. From 21 November to 23 December 2026, the traditional Christmas market on Stortorget in Gamla Stan (Stockholm’s Old Town) blends seamlessly with the historic open-air cultural village at Skansen. Enjoy illuminated medieval streets, unique Scandinavian handicrafts, and the comforting scent of spiced mulled wine.

The Gamla Stan market welcomes visitors daily for a cozy stroll amidst centuries-old architecture. Meanwhile, Skansen's historic Christmas market opens Friday through Sunday from late November to 20 December, featuring live folk music, craft demonstrations, choir performances, and delicious delicacies suited for a traditional Swedish Christmas table (Julbord).
