From 25 November to 23 December 2026, Stuttgart's city center will once again shine in festive splendor. As one of Europe's largest and oldest Christmas markets, steeped in centuries of tradition, it draws millions of visitors every year. At the heart of the magic is the magnificent Schlossplatz, framed by elaborately decorated wooden stalls and sparkling lights.

Program

The Christmas market stretches from Schlossplatz across Karlsplatz and Schillerplatz to the Town Hall. Stalls are open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Alongside shopping, visitors can enjoy atmospheric brass band performances set against the historic backdrop of the Old Castle.
