Welcome to the Subli'Cimes 2027 in La Plagne

Subli'Cimes is La Plagne's spring festival in the French Alps: several ski-area summits turn into themed playgrounds for a few days in April. The last fully documented edition ran from 6 to 11 April 2024; dates for 2027 had not been published as of September 2026. There is no extra festival ticket, but you need a valid ski pass or a pedestrian lift ticket. La Plagne sits in Paradiski and links to Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express. Subli'Cimes itself is held in La Plagne, not in Les Arcs.

Highlights & Attractions at Subli'Cimes in La Plagne

  • Five themed summits from about 1,800 m to more than 3,000 m
  • Free on-mountain animations with a valid lift pass: wellness, games, art, thrills and a snow cave
  • Peaks such as Live 3000, Grande Rochette, Plan Bois, Le Fornelet and La Rossa; themes change each edition
  • DJ sets, chill zones and festive sound on selected mountains plus classic spring ski-terrace energy
  • Four of five summits were pedestrian-accessible by gondola in the last edition
  • Family formats (giant ball pit, games) alongside jacuzzis, saunas and action parks
  • Late-season snow, sunshine and views towards the Vanoise and the Mont Blanc massif

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

Past editions ran on consecutive April days, typically from about 10:00 to 16:00 on the peaks. In 2024 the line-up included an open-air museum at Live 3000 (3,080 m), wellness jacuzzis at Grande Rochette, giant games at Plan Bois (Montchavin-Les Coches), an action spot at Fornelet (Montalbert) and a magical snow grotto at Rossa (Champagny-en-Vanoise). Older years used Roche de Mio for a roller disco and DJs. Themes for 2027 are not yet announced; check la-plagne.com before you travel.

La Plagne's 2026/2027 ski area is due to open on 12 December 2026 and close around 24 April 2027. The Paradiski link to Les Arcs is listed until about 17 April 2027. Subli'Cimes usually lands in that sunny late season. A 2027 edition had not been confirmed at the time of research.

Tickets & Admission for Subli'Cimes La Plagne

Subli'Cimes does not sell a separate festival ticket. Entry to the animations is free if you hold a valid ski pass or the pedestrian ticket for the lift you need. For winter 2026/2027, published high-season rates (19 December 2026 to 16 April 2027) are about 72 euros for an adult La Plagne day pass and about 78 euros for an adult Paradiski day pass. Child and senior prices are lower. Pedestrians buy ascent tickets at sales points and machines. Buy passes at skipass-laplagne.com or in resort. Treat 2027 festival dates and any special offers as unconfirmed until the tourist office publishes them.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in La Plagne

  • Travel by train to Aime-La Plagne, then take resort shuttles; drivers should carry winter equipment for mountain roads
  • April between 1,800 m and 3,000 m means sun and soft snow, but also wind and strong UV; pack light ski layers, sunscreen and a swimsuit for wellness peaks
  • Book lodging early in Plagne Centre, Belle Plagne, Plagne Bellecote, Montalbert, Montchavin-Les Coches or Champagny; Easter 2027 can sell out
  • La Rossa was ski-access only in the last edition; non-skiers should choose gondola peaks such as Grande Rochette or Live 3000
  • To add Les Arcs, buy a Paradiski pass and use the Vanoise Express while that link is open
