Welcome to Summer Well Festival 2027 in Buftea
From August 13 to 15, 2027, the historic grounds of Stirbey Domain in Buftea, about 20 kilometers northwest of Bucharest, once again become the setting for one of Romania's best known boutique festivals. Set among old trees, a small lake and the elegant architecture of the estate, Summer Well Festival blends music across genres with art and a relaxed summer atmosphere.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival traditionally runs from Friday to Sunday with performances stretching from the afternoon into the early morning hours. Artists for the 2027 edition have not yet been confirmed, the line up will be announced by the organizers in spring on the official website. Previous editions have featured acts such as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Florence and the Machine, The Chemical Brothers and Charlotte Cardin.

Early bird tickets for 2027 are already available, though final prices for this edition have not yet been officially published. For reference, the 2026 Full Pass for all three days cost around 425 lei, roughly 84 euros, while a VIP Pass was around 675 lei, roughly 133 euros. The organizers also run a shuttle bus between Bucharest and the festival grounds, with a single ticket costing around 30 lei.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Buftea
- There are no dedicated parking spots at the venue, the organizers strongly recommend the bus, train or bicycle instead
- Shuttle buses run regularly between central Bucharest and Buftea, and a train also connects Gara de Nord to Buftea station
- Camping is not offered at Summer Well Festival, so a hotel in Bucharest or the surrounding area is the best option for overnight stays
- Mid August typically brings warm, sometimes hot summer weather to the region, so light clothing and sun protection are advisable
- Given limited capacity and strong demand, booking tickets and accommodation early is worthwhile
