- Late December is mild but windy: expect roughly 8–15°C and possible rain. Wear layers, sturdy shoes and a waterproof jacket.
- Book rooms early, especially on Corso Umberto, around Piazza IX Aprile and above Mazzarò, as New Year nights sell out.
