Welcome to Tapapiés 2026 in Madrid
Tapapiés is the multicultural tapas and music festival of Lavapiés in Madrid, Spain, and reaches its 16th edition in 2026. The event is organised by the Asociación de Comerciantes de Lavapiés (enLavapiés). Exact 2026 dates have not been officially confirmed yet, though reports point to a period around mid to late October 2026, in line with previous years.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The official 2026 programme has not been released yet. In previous editions, Tapapiés ran for about ten days in October, with concerts, parades and children's activities concentrated on the two weekends of the event, usually around midday and in the evening, on squares such as Lavapiés, Cascorro, Arturo Barea and Nelson Mandela.
Visitors can walk the neighbourhood throughout the whole run, visit participating venues and vote for their favourite tapa, with winners announced toward the end of the festival.
Tickets & Admission for Tapapiés Madrid
Tapapiés does not use traditional entry tickets; instead, visitors pay per tapa at each participating venue. The official 2026 price has not been confirmed yet. For reference, in 2025 a tapa paired with a beer or soft drink cost 3.50 euros. Current prices and the full list of participating bars will be published on enlavapies.com ahead of the event.
