Welcome to the Hopfenwandertag 2028 in Tettnang
Every two years, the roughly four kilometer Hopfenpfad between downtown Tettnang and the Hopfengut N°20 in Siggenweiler turns into a lively beer trail. The event traditionally takes place on the first Sunday of August, though the exact 2028 date has not yet been announced by the city of Tettnang.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Tettnang
From 10am to 6pm, five themed beer villages line the Hopfenpfad, including the Internationales Bierdorf, the Musikantenstadel and the Bierdorf zur sonnigen Aussicht. Local clubs and associations provide live music, hearty grilled specialties and sweet treats, while breweries pour their finest beers brewed with Tettnang aroma hops. The route winds through the region's signature hop gardens all the way to the Hopfengut N°20.
Tickets and Admission for the 2028 Hopfen Trail Day
Admission is based on the traditional hop glass, which cost 12 euros per person at recent editions and included a 0.2 liter glass plus two vouchers worth 2 euros each. The price also covers free travel on the shuttle bus between Tettnang and Siggenweiler. Groups of 20 or more previously paid a reduced rate of 10 euros per person, and children under 16 entered free. Exact 2028 prices will be published later by the Tettnang Tourist Information office.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Tettnang
- Traveling by bus or train is recommended, since parking in Tettnang and at the Hopfengut N°20 is limited
- Regional bus lines connect Tettnang with Ravensburg, Friedrichshafen, Wangen and Meckenbeuren
- A free shuttle bus runs between Tettnang and Siggenweiler roughly every fifteen minutes during the event
- Accommodation in Tettnang and around Lake Constance should be booked well in advance given the strong turnout
- Sturdy footwear is a good idea, as parts of the four kilometer Hopfenpfad run along unpaved paths
