Welcome to the The Jungle Weekender 2027 in Amsterdam

The Jungle Weekender 2027 runs from 5 to 8 March in Amsterdam, with old-skool and nu jungle, ragga and classic drum & bass spread across clubs, a boat and an afterparty. It is not a single-site open-air festival: Friday night is confirmed at The Other Side (Rigakade 10), Saturday is a second club night (Panama at Oostelijke Handelskade 4 hosted Saturday in 2025 and 2026; the 2027 Saturday venue was not named at the time of writing), plus a Sunday boat party and a pay-on-the-door afterparty. Club doors are 21:00, nights run until about 05:00. Age limit is 18+.

Highlights & Attractions at The Jungle Weekender in Amsterdam

  • Three days of jungle, ragga and classic drum & bass – nu and old-skool rooms rather than a mainstream festival bill.
  • Friday 5 March: wristband pick-up, meet-and-greet and pre-party 13:00–18:00 at The Bulldog Palace (Leidseplein 15); opening night 21:00–05:00 at The Other Side, with jungle in Arena One and drum & bass in Arena Two.
  • Saturday 6 March: club night 21:00–05:00, jungle in Arena 1 and 1995–2015 drum & bass classics in room 2 (Saturday venue for 2027 still to be named).
  • Sunday 7 March: jungle boat party 15:00–19:00, boarding at Pier 14 behind Amsterdam Centraal; afterparty 18:00–03:00 at Akhnaton (Nieuwezijds Kolk 25), door sales only.
  • VIP balcony over the main arena, private bar, goodie bag and a dedicated meet-and-greet check-in.
  • Coffeeshop takeovers and a multi-site setup – the organisers bill it as three venues, two coffeeshops and one boat.
  • Names already attached (full line-up still to follow) include The Ragga Twins, DJ Rap, Brockie, MC Det, Aries, Uncle Dugs, Bryan Gee, Moose, MC GQ, Shabba D, Micky Finn, DJ Inter, Fearless and Darren Jay.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

The complete 2027 line-up is not out yet. The shape of the weekend is: Friday afternoon wristbands and warm-up at The Bulldog Palace, Friday night opening at The Other Side (two arenas, L-Acoustics L-ISA), Saturday club night with jungle plus classic D&B, Sunday afternoon boat on the canals, Sunday night Akhnaton afterparty with no advance tickets. Monday 8 March is listed as the end date; no separate Monday programme has been published.

The Other Side is in the Houthavens (Rigakade 10, 1013 BC). Panama, Saturday’s home in 2025 and 2026, is at Oostelijke Handelskade 4, 1019 BM in the Eastern Docklands. The boat boards at Pier 14 behind Centraal Station. Akhnaton is about a five-minute walk from the station. Per-DJ times usually land closer to the weekend via Eventbrite, Instagram (@thejungleweekender) and thejungleweekender.com.

Tickets & Admission for The Jungle Weekender Amsterdam

Tickets are on sale via Eventbrite and thejungleweekender.com. Age 18+ with photo ID; no refunds. Current listings sit at about 45 to 140 euro: Weekend Club Pass (Friday and Saturday clubs only; Sunday night not included), the same pass plus the Sunday boat, Limited VIP with or without the boat, and a VIP package with club pass, boat (where included), goodie bag, private area/balcony and VIP bar. Friday-only (The Other Side) and Saturday-only club tickets were listed as coming soon; the boat is also sold separately. The Akhnaton afterparty is not part of any pass and is pay on the door. Tiers move with each release – the official Eventbrite page is the source of truth. In 2026, final weekend passes were around 99 pounds sterling (about 115 euro) and VIP plus boat 160 pounds sterling (about 185 euro); 2027 pricing may differ.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Amsterdam

  • Travel: Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) to Amsterdam Centraal is about 15 minutes by train. The Other Side: bus 48 (Haparandaweg/Archangelkade) or bus 22 / night bus N81 (Zaanstraat); bike parking on site. Panama: tram/metro toward the Eastern Docklands. Boat: Pier 14 behind Centraal. Akhnaton: walk from the station. Cars and garages are expensive – train, tram and bike are easier. Use 9292.nl for journeys.
  • Weather and clothing: early March in Amsterdam is often 5–10 °C, with wind and rain. Pack layers, solid shoes and a waterproof; bring extra warmth for the boat.
  • Stay: the first March weekend fills up. Book early around Centraal, the Jordaan, Houthavens or the Eastern Docklands. A hotel or hostel near the clubs cuts late-night travel.
  • Collect wristbands on Friday afternoon at The Bulldog Palace and bring photo ID. Sunday night is not in the weekend pass. Dutch clubs often use cloakroom fees and token bars – carry a card and some cash. Buy only through official channels; photo ID is checked.
  • The weekender is 18+. Coffeeshop takeovers sit inside Dutch law, not outside it. If you want the boat, add it early – it sold out fast in previous years.
