Welcome to the Thessaloniki International Fair 2026
From 5 to 13 September 2026, Thessaloniki once again becomes the economic and cultural focal point of Greece: the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) takes place for the 90th time, marking a special milestone since exactly one hundred years have passed since the first edition in 1926. Under the banner of a reimagined "NEW TIF", this year's fair blends business, innovation and culture into a modern concept, with Japan as the honored country.

Program
The fair opens on weekends (5, 6, 12 and 13 September) from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and on the weekdays in between from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. At its core is the classic trade fair with hundreds of exhibitors, complemented by honored country Japan, which presents its culture under the theme "Takumi" (wisdom, empathy and driving force). Alongside the exhibition, daily concerts on the fairground stage provide entertainment, while the city itself hosts an extensive cultural program of theatre, music and exhibitions.
Tickets
Ticket sales open with a discounted presale price of 5 euros until 31 May 2026, followed by an early bird price of 7 euros until 31 August. During the fair itself, the online ticket costs 9 euros, and 12 euros at the box office. Children between 4 and 10 pay 6 euros (accompanied by an adult), and a family ticket for four people costs 25 euros. Children under 4 enter free of charge.
Visitor Tips
- Buy tickets as early as possible and online, since presale prices are significantly cheaper than the box office rate.
- The exhibition centre sits centrally in the city on Egnatia Street and is easy to reach by public transport.
- Weekends tend to be busier than weekdays; weekday afternoons are a good option for a quieter visit.
- Check the accompanying concert program and citywide cultural events online in advance, as they often run on separate schedules and sometimes require separate tickets.
- Allow plenty of time, since the exhibition grounds are large and cover many pavilions across different themes.
