Welcome to the Time in Jazz 2027 in Berchidda
Time in Jazz is the international festival founded by Sardinian trumpeter Paolo Fresu that has filled the squares and landscapes of northern Sardinia with jazz and world music since 1988. The 2027 edition is expected to take place in August in Berchidda and numerous other locations across Gallura and the north. The festival combines main-stage concerts on Piazza del Popolo with decentralised events in churches, parks, harbours and historic sites, creating a unique atmosphere of music, landscape and community.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival typically spans several days in August and is centred on Berchidda while extending to many surrounding municipalities. The main stage on Piazza del Popolo hosts evening concerts with international headliners. During the day and at satellite venues, free or low-cost events take place: musical walks, exhibitions, readings, workshops and children’s activities. Many performances make use of Sardinia’s distinctive landscape – from inland villages to sites with sea views. Exact dates and the full programme for 2027 are usually announced in spring.
