When does Time Warp Mannheim 2027 take place?
Time Warp Mannheim takes place on Saturday, 3 April 2027. The festival starts in the evening and runs without interruption into Sunday afternoon; previous editions lasted around 19 hours straight, roughly from 7:00 PM to 2:00 PM the next day. Since 2026 there is only one German edition each year, held in spring; the former autumn edition in November has been discontinued.

The venue is the Maimarkthalle in Mannheim (Xaver Fuhr Straße 101, 68163 Mannheim), together with the adjoining Maimarkt grounds. Mannheim has been the festival's permanent home since 2000; the industrial halls hold around 20,000 visitors across five separate floors.

What can visitors expect at Time Warp?
Time Warp is considered one of the most influential techno festivals in the world and was founded in 1994. Across five floors, internationally known DJs deliver uninterrupted sound accompanied by elaborate light, laser and stage productions. Past editions have featured names like Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens and Carl Cox. The line up for 2027 has not been announced yet and is usually revealed the winter before.
How much do Time Warp 2027 tickets cost?
Ticket prices for 2027 are not yet confirmed. For reference, prices for the 2026 edition ranged from 49 euros for an early "5AM Blue Pass" through a standard Blue Pass at around 89 to 109 euros up to 249 euros for the Gold Pass with extra perks. Time Warp regularly sells out well in advance, so buying tickets as soon as sales open is recommended.
How do you get to the Maimarkthalle?
Traveling by public transport is strongly recommended, as traffic disruptions around the venue are common. A valid Time Warp ticket includes free public transport across the entire Rhein Neckar transport network (VRN); the name on the ticket must match your ID. No camping is available at the Mannheim site, and entry is restricted to visitors aged 18 and over.
