Unsound Festival Kraków 2026: When and Where It Takes Place
The Unsound Festival in Kraków runs from 8 to 11 October 2026 (Thursday to Sunday). This year's edition looks different from previous ones: for the first time in the festival's history, its main Polish edition unfolds across two cities. From 2 to 6 October, the program takes place in Warsaw, before continuing to Kraków, the festival's longtime home, via a dedicated train departing on 7 October. The theme for the 2026 edition is SOFT POWER.

Several internationally known names have already been confirmed for the 2026 edition, including a rare appearance by Diamanda Galás as well as acts such as Arca, Juliana Huxtable, Azzi on the Beat, Actress, Tim Hecker, PPP, Debit and DJ Plead. Which artists perform in Warsaw versus Kraków will be revealed gradually, and no show is repeated between the two cities. Kraków's program traditionally centers on several club nights at Hotel Forum, supplemented by concerts, talks and installations at other venues around the city.
Tickets for Unsound Festival Kraków 2026: Prices and How to Buy
Passes are already on sale. The Kraków Pass (8 to 11 October) costs 750 PLN and covers evening events in Kraków. Those who want to experience the full journey from Warsaw to Kraków can book the combined Warsaw Kraków Pass for 1200 PLN (3 to 11 October); riding the Unsound Train on 7 October requires a separate ticket. A three day Kraków Club Pass covering the club nights at Hotel Forum is set to go on sale in August; last year's regular price for that pass was 350 PLN (290 PLN for students). - The festival is for adult audiences only; the age restriction is 18 and over.
- Passes are limited and have sold out early in previous years, so booking ahead is recommended.
