Welcome to the Uppsala Reggae Festival 2027 in Uppsala
On July 30 and 31, 2027, the Fyrishov grounds along the Fyris river once again become the heart of reggae in Scandinavia. Founded in 2001, the festival is recognized as Scandinavia's first and largest dedicated reggae festival, drawing visitors from across the Nordic region.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Uppsala
Gates open at two in the afternoon on both days and the festival runs into the early morning hours. Live bands and soundsystems take turns on the main stage, while stalls, crafts and food offer plenty to explore around the grounds. The full 2027 lineup has not yet been announced and will be published on the official website in spring.
Tickets and Admission for the Uppsala Reggae Festival 2027
Single day tickets and a combined two day ticket are expected for 2027, following the pattern of previous editions. Exact prices and the presale start date have not yet been announced by the organizers. Young children accompanied by an adult have traditionally been admitted free of charge.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Uppsala
- Fyrishov is about a twenty minute walk from central Uppsala and is also easy to reach by bus
- A footpath and cycle path along the Fyris river connects the city center directly to the festival grounds
- A campsite and cabin village sit right next to the grounds and are worth booking early
- Late July usually brings pleasant summer temperatures to Uppsala, though rain protection for the evening is still worthwhile
- Parking is available on both sides of the grounds, though arriving by train or bus is recommended
