Welcome to the Vienna Design Week 2026 in Vienna
Vienna Design Week 2026 celebrates its 20th anniversary from 25 September to 4 October and once again turns Vienna into a “City Full of Design”. With around 200 events at approximately 50 locations, the Festival Headquarters at Hietzinger Kai 101 and a rich side programme of performances and sound installations, the festival presents design in all its facets – mostly with free admission.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The festival runs from 25 September to 4 October 2026. The Festival Headquarters is open daily from 11:00 to 19:00; a Spotlight event takes place on Saturday 26 September from 17:00 to 22:00, and the Finissage is on 4 October from 16:00 to 19:00. The programme includes curated exhibitions, public-space interventions, talks, workshops and a strong collateral programme with sound and performance. Tickets & Admission for Vienna Design Week Vienna
Admission to the Festival Headquarters and most events is free. Selected guided tours, workshops or specials may charge a fee and sometimes require advance booking via the website. Up-to-date information and the booking system can be found at viennadesignweek.at.

- Getting to the Festival Headquarters: Unter-St.-Veit underground station (U4) is right next to Hietzinger Kai 101.
