Welcome to the Vierdaagsefeesten 2027 in Nijmegen
Vierdaagsefeesten 2027 takes place from 17 to 23 July in Nijmegen and is regarded as the largest free multi-day festival in the Netherlands. Parallel to the famous Nijmegen Four Days Marches (the world’s largest walking event), the city centre turns into a massive festival site welcoming over a million visitors. More than 40 stages and over 1,000 performances provide seven days of music, celebration and connection.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Outdoor stages start depending on the location between 14:00 and 15:00 or between 18:00 and 20:00. Acts finish from Saturday to Thursday at 00:30 and on Friday at 01:00. Terraces remain open without music until 02:00. A full tour of all stages is roughly 7 km long. Special themes include party music, timeless hits and Roze Woensdag. Some indoor concerts (such as Stevenskerk Live) require separate tickets.
Tickets & Admission for Vierdaagsefeesten Nijmegen
The majority of the outdoor stage programme is completely free. An optional wristband costs 12.50 euros and gives seven days of unlimited toilet access plus a daily exclusive extra programme. Individual indoor events such as Stevenskerk Live require tickets. Drinks are sold at the bars; a 1-euro cup fee applies to the first drink. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Nijmegen
- Use a bicycle, public transport or walk – the city centre is very busy and traffic is restricted during the festival.
- July weather in Nijmegen is usually warm; wear light clothing, sun protection and comfortable shoes and bring enough water.
- Book accommodation early, as hotels and lodging in and around Nijmegen fill up quickly during Vierdaagse week.
