Welcome to the Vogalonga 2027 in Venice
The Vogalonga 2027 takes place on 16 May in Venice. This non-competitive rowing event covers approximately 30 kilometres through the Venetian lagoon and the Grand Canal. Thousands of participants from around the world paddle in traditional and modern boats, celebrating Venetian rowing culture and raising awareness against motorboat wakes.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The Vogalonga starts on 16 May at 9:00 a.m. with the traditional cannon shot in the Bacino di San Marco. Boats gather from around 8:30 a.m. The course leads through the northern lagoon, past several islands and back into the city via the Cannaregio Canal and the Grand Canal. Arrival at Punta della Salute occurs during the afternoon depending on boat type and pace. There is no ranking – the goal is simply to complete the course together.
