Welcome to the Weihnachtlicher Hofzauber 2026 in Neustrelitz
The Weihnachtlicher Hofzauber takes place on 27 and 28 November 2026 in the historic city centre of Neustrelitz. Unlike classic Christmas markets concentrated on a single square, the magic spreads across numerous lovingly decorated courtyards along Strelitzer Straße, Schlossstraße and around the market square. On Friday from 17:00 to 21:00 and on Saturday from 15:00 to 21:00 the courtyards invite visitors to explore, enjoy and linger.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
On Friday, 27 November 2026, the Hofzauber begins at 17:00 with the festive light ceremony. Santa Claus welcomes visitors on the market square and, together with them, lights the Christmas tree in front of the town hall as well as the well-known market crown. Afterwards the courtyards along Strelitzer Straße and in the surrounding area open for music, enjoyment and encounters.
On Saturday, 28 November 2026, the programme starts at 15:00 and lasts until 21:00. The entire Strelitzer Straße, the courtyards of the shopping street, Schlossstraße with the art house and cultural quarter as well as further places such as the town church, Borwinheim and courtyards in Glambecker Straße fill with Christmas life. Live music, children’s crafts, readings and culinary offerings create a feast for all the senses.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Neustrelitz
- The city centre is easily reachable on foot; Neustrelitz station is a short distance away. By car, parking is available around the market square.
- Warm, weatherproof clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended, as you will move between the courtyards and November can be cool and damp.
- Book accommodation in the residence city or near the Müritz National Park early, as the Advent season and the Hofzauber attract many visitors.
- Take time for the discovery tour through the different courtyards – each location has its own character and offerings.
