Welcome to the Ahrweiler Christmas Market 2026 in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler
The Ahrweiler Christmas Market 2026 takes place from 27 November to 20 December on all four Advent weekends in the historic old town of Ahrweiler. Between medieval town gates, half-timbered houses and St. Laurentius Church, a particularly atmospheric pre-Christmas setting is created with handicrafts, regional mulled wine and live music.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Ahrweiler Christmas Market takes place exclusively on the four Advent weekends 2026: 27–29 November, 4–6 December, 11–13 December and 18–20 December. Opening hours: Fridays 14:00–21:00, Saturdays 11:00–21:00, Sundays 11:00–20:00. The offer is complemented by the Christmas Krammarkt on 15 December and the Uferlichter with floral light installations along the Ahr and in the spa park.
Tickets & Admission for Ahrweiler Christmas Market Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler

On all four Advent weekends the market square as well as Ahrhutstraße and Niederhutstraße turn into a festive Christmas town. High-quality handicrafts, regional specialities and a varied supporting programme make the market a hidden gem among German Christmas markets.
Christmas Krammarkt Ahrweiler 2026
On Tuesday, 15 December 2026, the traditional Christmas Krammarkt takes place on the Ahrtor car park in Ahrweiler. Visitors can expect a wide range of goods and Christmas products in classic market style.
Uferlichter Bad Neuenahr 2026/2027
From 4 December 2026 to 10 January 2027 the Ahr riverbank and Bad Neuenahr spa park shine with floral light installations designed by floral designer Gregor Lersch. On weekends and between the years there are stalls with food, crafts, a cultural programme and the “Kurpark on Ice” ice rink. Opening hours: Friday and Saturday 15:00–21:00, Sunday and between the years 14:00–21:00. Admission is free.
