The Bad Soden Christmas market in the Old Kurpark is widely regarded as one of the most atmospheric Advent markets between the Taunus hills and the Rhine-Main region. In the Neuenhain district, the small farm Christmas market at Apfelschmiede complements the city market. Freshly cut Nordmann firs in various sizes are sold alongside mulled wine, punch and other farm specialities. The farm market is ideal if you want a Christmas tree and a quieter Advent stop. On the second Advent weekend (5 and 6 December 2026) you can combine both: Apfelschmiede in Neuenhain earlier in the day, then the Old Kurpark market in the afternoon and evening.
