Wiähnachtsdörfli at the Grichtshuus
On the weekends of December 11 to 13 and December 18 to 20, 2026, a very special market takes place in the historic garden of the courthouse. The "Wiähnachtsdörfli" features 20 beautifully designed wooden huts, creating a very intimate and cozy village atmosphere right in the middle of the city.
Christmas Market at the Freulerpalast Gardens (Näfels)
On the weekend of December 12 to 13, 2026, you should definitely take a detour to nearby Näfels. In the magnificent gardens of the Freulerpalast, a 17th-century building, a nostalgic market awaits you, perfectly combining history with Christmas spirit.
