Welcome to the Liège Christmas Market 2026
From November 27 to December 29, 2026, the old town of Liège turns into Belgium's oldest and largest Christmas village. Stretching from the esplanade in front of the Opera through Place Saint Lambert to Place du Marché, around 200 wooden chalets line the streets and draw close to two million visitors to the Cité Ardente every year.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Liège
For almost five weeks, the chalets open daily from 11:00 in the morning, usually until 20:00 and often later on weekends. Throughout the season, concerts, folklore acts and DJ evenings on the ice rink keep the atmosphere lively, while Saint Nicholas makes regular appearances for younger visitors.

Access to the market and all its squares is completely free. Only the ice rink, individual rides such as the carousels, and food and drinks at the chalets are paid for separately on site.
