Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
Opening hours published by the City of Beckum for Weihnachtsmarkt Neubeckum 2026 are Friday, 11 December, 12:00–20:00, Saturday, 12 December, 11:00–20:00, and Sunday, 13 December, 13:00–19:00. The focus is the hut village on Rathausvorplatz, hot drinks and a programme on and in front of the stage. The detailed 2026 running order is usually released shortly before the event by Stadtmarketing Beckum. In recent years the Trompetercorps Neubeckum has opened Friday, with choirs, dance groups from Freizeithaus Neubeckum and TSC Rot-Gold Neubeckum, plus live musicians over the weekend.
Food follows Westphalian Christmas-market tradition: mulled wine, bratwurst, currywurst, fries, potato pancakes with apple sauce and roasted almonds. Many stalls are run by local shooting and carnival clubs, so the market doubles as a neighbourhood gathering for families and visitors from the Warendorf district. Friday and Saturday evenings are best for lights and music; on Sunday the market already closes at 19:00.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Neubeckum
- Arrive by train at Beckum-Neubeckum station (RB69 Hamm–Münster); Rathausvorplatz is about a ten-minute walk along Hauptstraße. By car, leave the A2 at Beckum and continue into Neubeckum. Use side-street parking; the square itself is the event site during market hours.
- December in the Münsterland is often wet and cold, typically around freezing to about 6 °C. Wear waterproof shoes, layers, a hat and gloves; the open square cools quickly after dusk.
- Hotels and guesthouses are concentrated in Beckum, with further options in Hamm, Ahlen and Oelde. Book early if you need a room on an Advent weekend.
- Bring some cash: smaller club stalls may not take cards. The site is compact and easy to visit with children or a stroller.
- You can combine Beckum’s Advent markets: Roland on 21 November, Beckum from 27 November to 6 December, Neubeckum from 11 to 13 December, and Vellern on 19 and 20 December 2026. Recheck the 2026 stage timetable on beckum.de shortly before you travel.
