Welcome to the Oschatz Christmas Market 2026 on the Neumarkt
From December 3 to 6, 2026, the Neumarkt square in Oschatz once again turns into a festive Christmas market. In the heart of this small town's restored old town in northern Saxony, visitors will find seasonal stalls, a varied stage program and the traditional cutting of the Oschatz Christmas stollen.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Oschatz
The market is open Thursday and Friday from 2 pm to 8 pm, Saturday from 2 pm to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm. Some food stalls open earlier, from noon on the first two days, for those stopping by for lunch. The opening with the stollen cutting traditionally takes place on the first day, followed by an evening program of choirs, music groups and festive storytelling.
