Welcome to the Plauen Christmas Market 2026 in Plauen
From November 24 to December 22, 2026, the Altmarkt in Plauen turns into a sparkling sea of lights. For around 300 years, this Advent market has been part of the tradition of the so called Lace City and today counts as the largest Christmas market in the Vogtland region.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Plauen
The Christmas market opens daily from 11 am to 8 pm and runs continuously for four weeks until shortly before Christmas Eve. Around the Altmarkt, music, festive scents and the turning pyramid create a cozy atmosphere, while shops in the city center also welcome visitors on selected Advent Sundays.

Visiting the Plauen Christmas Market is free of charge. Only food, drinks and the additional ice rink on the Topfmarkt come with the usual on site costs.
