Welcome to the Ravennaschlucht Christmas Market 2026
From 26 November to 20 December 2026, across the four weekends of Advent (Thursday to Sunday), one of Germany's most spectacular Christmas markets comes alive. Tucked away in the wild and romantic Black Forest, the market sits directly beneath the towering, illuminated 40-meter-high stone railway viaduct of the Höllental railway.

Program
The market opens on Thursdays (4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, exception: closed on 10 December), Fridays and Saturdays (2:00 PM to 9:00 PM), and Sundays (2:00 PM to 9:00 PM). Alongside artisan stalls and regional food vendors, the mystical atmosphere of the deep gorge creates an unforgettable experience. For a special touch, guided torchlight walks from Hinterzarten through the winter landscape directly to the market are available.
Tickets
Access to the Christmas market requires a pre-booked online time-slot ticket (approx. 2 hours duration). There is no box office or ticket sales on-site. Adult ticket prices range from EUR 7.50 to EUR 9.50 depending on the chosen time slot. Children up to 15 years old enter free when accompanied by an adult.
