The Weihnachtsmarkt im Schlosshof Affing is one of the most atmospheric Advent markets in Bavarian Swabia. Traditionally held on the second and third Advent weekends, the non-profit association transforms the historic castle courtyard into a rustic Christmas world. With around 70 exhibitors, handmade products and a varied programme for the whole family, the market offers a special atmosphere and donates the proceeds to charitable causes.

The Weihnachtsmarkt im Schlosshof Affing takes place on the second and third Advent weekends: Saturday 5 December 2026 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 6 December from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., as well as Friday 11 December from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 12 December from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 13 December from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The programme includes puppet theatre, fairy-tale hours, musical performances and the visit of St. Nicholas. Many programme items take place in covered areas such as the craft barn and the castle barn.
