Welcome to the Schwarzenberg Christmas Market 2026 in Schwarzenberg
From December 4 to December 13, 2026, the heritage protected old town of Schwarzenberg in the Ore Mountains turns into one of Saxony's most romantic Christmas markets. For ten days, from the Friday before the second Advent to the third Advent Sunday, visitors can enjoy festively decorated streets and lanes throughout the historic mountain town.

The market is open daily from 11 am to 8 pm. One of the fixed highlights is the Schwarzenberg fairy tale procession, which traditionally moves through the old town at 2:30 pm on the second Advent Sunday. On the third Advent Saturday at 5 pm, the grand Schwarzenberg mountain parade follows, a highlight rooted in the region's mining tradition. Numerous exhibitions across town, including a model railway display, add further attractions.
